What have you learned the most since coming to Miriam’s Hope?

I have learned that is okay to open up about everything that I’ve been through in my life no matter how bad things may have been, and also that God truly does have a purpose in my life.

 In what ways do you see Miriam's Hope impacting the community for good?

Our community (and society at large) is positively impacted when individuals know how to work, exhibit a positive work ethic, overcome addictions and abuse, contribute to society, and raise children with similar beliefs and capabilities. Studies have shown that individuals with a strong faith exhibit these qualities more than individuals in the general public.  The resident mothers at Miriam’s Hope are succeeding in ways and depths they never thought possible or were ever able to attain before they surrendered their lives to Christ as the fountain and foundation of their lives.
